Juan II de Castilla (Toro, 6 de marzo de 1405-Valladolid, 21 de julio de 1454)[1]​ fue rey de Castilla[a]​ durante cuarenta y ocho años, casi la primera mitad del siglo XV, entre 1406 y 1454. Fue hijo del rey Enrique III «el Doliente» (1379-1406) y de la reina Catalina de Lancaster (1373-1418), y padre de los reyes Enrique IV de Castilla (de su primera esposa, María de Aragón), e Isabel la Católica y Alfonso el Inocente (de la segunda, Isabel de Portugal). No debe confundirse con su contemporáneo, el rey Juan II de Aragón (1398-1479).
