No sítio Cantigas medievais galego-portuguesas, temos: "Nada sabemos deste autor, a não ser a sua condição de jogral, informação que faz parte da rubrica atributiva que precede a sua única cantiga conservada pelos cancioneiros. Por esta mesma cantiga, onde ataca os alcaides "traidores", se depreende que terá estado em Portugal pelos anos da guerra civil (1245-1247), eventualmente no séquito do infante Afonso de Castela (futuro Afonso X), vindo em socorro de D. Sancho II. Mas nada de concreto sabemos sobre a biografia deste jogral, incluindo a sua naturalidade."

Diego Pezelho (... – ...; fl. XIII secolo) è stato un giullare portoghese, attivo nella seconda metà del XIII secolo. È autore di un sirventés politico, dove fingendosi comandante di una fortezza, attacca l'arcivescovo per non cedere la piazza ad Afonso III, giurando fedeltà a Sancho II.
